I have never taken an online class. Will I be able to learn?

Using the Virtual Classroom

How do I enter the virtual classroom?

The virtual classroom is powered by Adobe Connect. On your course homepage, click on ‘Adobe Connect’ on the left-side navigation bar. Once you see the list of available live classes, click the one you want to enter and your instructor will see you there!

How fast should my internet connection be to access the online classroom?

A minimum 1Mbps internet connection is required to access virtual classrooms. We recommend that you use a wired connection e.g. DSL, Fiber. If you have frequent power breakdowns, make sure to have your PC and wifi router on backup power.

Can I use a smartphone/tablet to access the virtual classroom?

What do I need to do before accessing the virtual classroom for the first time?

We need to do a tech check-up before you access the class for the first time to make sure your system is ready. Once you register for the course, we will be in touch with you to schedule the tech check-up.
You can also do a quick system check using the Adobe Connect Diagnostic Tool. The tool will ask you to install Flash Player and Adobe Add-on to complete the test


I missed a class. What should I do now?

No need to worry. Missed classes can be made available upon request to your instructor. Once he or she approves, you will be provided a link to watch the class recording.


How do I pay for a course?
